Domenica notte, una grande sala con un palchetto di legno scuro, serata piena iniziata all'insegna di festeggiamenti da parte della scuola organizzatrice dell'evento (25 anni di attività). Solo Tango Orchestra con il cantante Ariel Ardit avevano già scaldato il cuore e le gambe di tutti, intensi, raffinati e talentuosi. La migliore orchestra del momento, profondamente classica, deliziosamente ballabile e densa di tango nonostante le sue radici Russe, che incontra la voce argentina di Ariel, presente, pulita e interpretativa con misura e grazia. Una prima collaborazione molto ben riuscita e inaspettata, una chicca fuori programma, il primo segnale di una energia all'insegna della concentrazione di talenti.
Seduti in cerchio a terra, ognuno cercando il proprio spazio, e infine immobili e in religioso silenzio, pronti a gustare l'Evento: 3 coppie che hanno già trasformato e segnato la storia del tango e continuano a farlo,
Chicho Mariano Frumboli y Juana Sepulveda, Julio Balmaceda y Corina De La Rosa, Gustavo Naveira y Giselle Anne, in ordine di anzianità di carriera, tutte lì in quella pista, per quella notte, assieme! Incredibile e storico!
Romeo Orsini, organizzatore del festival, presenta con spontaneità ed eccitazione la serata, dichiarando l'evento qualcosa di oltre il suo stesso intervento, sentendosi un piccolo tramite per canalizzare una grande opportunità, e definisce scherzosamente gli artisti ospiti come tre "elephant couples" del tango... Sicuramente erano, sono e saranno dei giganti nella storia di questa danza meravigliosa, patrimonio dell'umanità!
Seduta a terra in prima fila sono rimasta abbagliata dalla forza che emanava da ciascuna coppia, creavano e riempivano tutto lo spazio intorno a loro..
La terra nelle loro gambe, elastica e silenziosa, la presenza chiara, luminosa e potente...e la musica che suonava fuori dai loro corpi e dai loro movimenti, profondamente connessi nel piacere di co-creare.
Una ispirazione, la manifestazione di un talento fuori misura e la sensazione palpabile di partecipare a quel momento, di unire la mia energia a quella di tutti e sostenere così il vortice dell'esibizione di ciascuna coppia perché la forza crescesse verso l'alto, e rendesse profondamente vibrante ed emozionante quel momento.
Nessuno era lì per caso quella sera, tutti eravamo parte dell'espressione storica di così tanto talento riunito, concretamente concentrato nella ronda finale, con la musica dal vivo dei Solo Tango e la voce di Ariel a completare la pelle d'oca. Un allineamento spazio temporale che ha reso tutto non casuale e più della somma delle circostanze. Incredibile, meravigliosamente incredibile, quando l'Arte trasforma e trascende gli uomini.

Sunday night. A large dance hall with a dark parquet floor. A night full of
events has begun with the celebrations of the 25th year of activity of the organizing
school. Everybody’s hearts and legs had been warmed up already by the “Solo
Tango Orchestra”, with Ariel Ardit singing: passionate, elegant and
talented. The best orchestra of the
moment, intensely classic, lovely for dancing and, despite its Russian roots, full
of tango, meets the Argentinian voice of Ariel, always present, clear,
interpreting music gracefully and without excesses. A first-time collaboration
that proves at once to be successful and surprising, an unscheduled gem, the
first hint of the kind of energy of this night, marked by a concentration of
talent.
Everybody sitting in a circle on the floor, trying to find a clear space, and
then everybody motionless and in reverent silence, ready to enjoy the Event: 3
couples who transformed the tango and made its history in the past and who
still do it,
Chicho Mariano Frumboli y Juana Sepulveda, Julio Balmaceda y Corina De La
Rosa, Gustavo Naveira y Giselle Anne (in order of seniority in careers): all
there, all on this floor, this night, together! Incredible and historic!
Romeo Orsini, the festival promoter, makes an unaffected and excited
presentation of the performance, declaring the event an experience beyond him, a
little widget transmitting a big opportunity, and playing with the artists when
calling them “three elephant couples” of tango… Certainly they have been, as they
are now and will always be, giants in the history of this wonderful dance, heritage
of humanity!
On the floor, first row, I am dazzled by the power radiating from each
couple, creating the space around them and filling it all.
The ground, flexible and noiseless, in their legs. Their strong appearance,
shining and powerful. The music playing outside their bodies and movements,
deeply fastened the one to the other by the delight of co-creating.
The inspiring expression of a talent beyond measure and the palpable
sensation of taking part in that event, with my energy joining to that of
everybody else and so supporting the whirl created by each dancing couple,
allowing the power to rise high and making the moment intensely vibrating and
exciting.

None of us was there by chance, that night. We all, have been part of that
historic demonstration of a huge quantity of talent gathered there, actually
concentrated in the final RONDA, upon live music by Solo Tango and Ariel’s
voice completing the thrill. There has been an alignment of space and time that
rendered the whole event not a mere accident and more than a mere sum of circumstances.
Incredible, wonderfully incredible, the Art transforming and going beyond human
beings.
